What is "Behind the Machines"

Hello! And thank you for taking the time to check out our blog! I'm Andrew, founder of MetroWest Vending. I started this business after graduating college in 2023 and quickly faced challenges and learned many lessons even within a matter of a few short weeks and months. I've decided to start this blog called "Behind the Machines" as a way to tell the stories, industry insights, and lessons learned behind the scenes starting this business from scratch.

My goal is not to tell people the right or wrong way to do something, rather to simply share these experiences and positively impact others. Whether you run your own business or not, my goal is that you're able to takeaway some valuable information and best practices to apply towards your own business, professional pursuits, and life in general.

In the following posts, we'll be discussing topics involving our business such as how we started, lessons learned, tactical strategies, and best practices in the industry currently.

One of the skills that's served me well over the years is a desire to learn endlessly. I recognize that continuous improvements day in and day out are what lead to larger successes over longer time horizons.
